NC Fellows

The North Carolina Fellows Program is a four-year leadership development program; the application process for this program is open to all first-year students. Carolina Leadership Development sends a letter to all first-year students during the fall semester inviting them to apply. After an intense and challenging multi-phase interview process, twenty students are selected to participate in the program. Program highlights include the 3-credit Sophomore Seminar, monthly seminars facilitated by campus and community leaders, and annual retreats. Additionally, the program offers limited funding for internships that are arranged by program participants.

Designed with a strong developmental focus, the program emphasizes peer and professional feedback. As a result of participation in the program, NC Fellows will develop both character and leadership abilities. The NC Fellows Program provides experiences that have a lasting impact.
